Continued development of condos for sale in Calatagan, Batangas is a clear proof that the province has been growing positively. Surrounded by the West Philippine Sea, Batangas keeps a number of remote and underdeveloped beaches and islands that are all calm, quiet, and comforting just like the old Boracay. Simplicity. These islands were able to give man the closeness he seeks to experience with nature.

Being near to Manila, tourists (local and foreign) find beaches in the province as an easy weekend travel getaway. With just four to five hours of travel, anyone could enjoy the sun kissed beach and cool waters easily. And among the top beach destinations in Luzon, there are places that are so calm and “undeveloped” yet so pure and wonderful, not to mention budget-friendly.

A smaller island found at the tip of Maricaban Island in Batangas, Sepoc Point is a place where newly-hatched sea turtles can be found. It is called Sepoc Point because of the Sepoc trees which are believed to be growing endemically there. The place is calm and quiet, perfect for those longing relaxation.

There are tent rentals available but tourists are allowed to bring in their own tents. They could also set bonfire and drink alcohol outside their tents for a simple beach party. However, as a responsibility to keep the beach clean, tourists are given trash bags upon their entrance to encourage them to leave no trace.
